Ann Lawrence, B.Sc., N.D. - Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine (Clinic Director)
Ann Lawrence graduated with a Bachelor of Science Honours degree from the University of Guelph in Marine Biology. She then lived over seas in Japan for two years where she first became exposed to acupuncture and Eastern healing methods. Upon returning to Canada she pursued a Master’s of Science in agriculture having a keen interest in the environment and it’s effects on the health of human beings. But her true calling was discovered when she first heard about the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine and went on to study there graduating in 1999 as a licensed Naturopathic Doctor in Ontario. Since then Ann has been practicing in Ottawa with an eclectic general practice using the therapies listed on this website, seeing a wide range of patients with a large diversity of disorders. Areas of special interest are nutrition, adrenal fatigue, detoxifying the body (heavy metals, etc.), weight management, women’s issues and children. As well, Ann Lawrence is the only practitioner in Ottawa qualified in Advanced Constitutional Hydrotherapy Treatments and Carroll Food Testing. Ann is a dedicated practitioner and finds that her passion for this field of healthcare continues to grow as she endeavours to research and learn as much as possible to help her patients.

Carolyn Mercer, B.Sc., N.D. – Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine
Carolyn graduated from Wilfred Laurier University with a Bachelor of Science studying biology and psychology where she developed an interest in evidence based research. Carolyn graduated from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine and has integrated her past education into a more holistic avenue of healing. Special areas of interest include mental health and wellness, endocrine health, detoxification, nutrition, diet and exercise. Carolyn welcomes patients who are dedicated to improving their health and quality of life.
